The test subject: Hi-Point Model JHP .45ACP The Ammunition used: Speer GoldDot 185gr GDHP (JHP) While the Hi-Point is a bulky piece of equipment, I found it not to be as bulky as it looks at least for my hand. The trigger has a surprisingly smooth pull but is a bit heavy and long. Accuracy could be better but I think that's my fault, I was taught to shoot with both eyes open and kept catching myself closing my left eye. If I did everything right it kept them all in about a 5" circle @ 15 yards. I believe it can do better, after all it's been.....sheesh something like 7 years since I last shot a handgun. How did it function? Flawlessly. It fed the JHP rounds with no problems what so ever and went bang every time the trigger was squeezed and kept it's mouth shout when it should have. More to come as I handle and fire it some more I honestly think the accuracy will improve has mine improves. The paint can test (1 gallon paint can full of water) This was fun. Entrance: Exit:
