Get a large pot and fill it halfway with water. Turn heat up to make a rolling boil. Take acorns, bark, pine needles or cedar which ever is your favorite and drop it in the water, I usually let it boil for a minute or two. Then remove from heat and let cool. Very important to let it cool. After cool strain the water off whatever you used for scent and put it in a new spray bottle (buy at Wal-Mart) or use an old cover scent bottle. Do not use a sprayer that had any kind of cleaner in it because you will never get rid of the strong smell. It will only stay good for a week or so, but it is so simple and inexpensive that you can make more easily.
